COVID19 has impacted all of us in different ways. Across the country, students have been advised not to return to campus after spring break limiting their access to campus career services to search for internships and first jobs; thousands have been laid off from their jobs and now find themselves unexpectedly in the job market; and we’re all quarantined in our homes. Update: To help bridge the gap between recruiters and job hunters Whole Living Coaching is offering Career Coaching services at half price until December 31, 2020. Coaching will be conducted via phone, Skype, or Zoom and services will include resume and cover letter writing, mock interviews, career assessments, and how to create a strategic and effective job search. S. Lynne Coleman, MBA, MA

“Be the author of your own life story.”
S. Lynne has spent her entire professional career helping people to achieve their goals and to actualize their potential. After being awarded her MBA from Vanderbilt University in 2001, S. Lynne spent 10 years working as a corporate trainer and organizational consultant. During her tenure she worked to help employees improve their skills and marketability, to create plans for achieving their career goals, and to offer guidance on issues of work-life balance and stress. In 2010 S. Lynne founded The Polished Professional - Career Coaching and Counseling so that she could focus exclusively on helping people of all ages to achieve their professional goals. She works with young adults preparing to enter the workforce, seasoned professionals looking to advance in their careers or to change careers, and individuals in transition.

S. Lynne quickly realized that issues with career management are often affected by issues outside the workplace – family, relationships, spirituality, etc.. To better serve her clients, S. Lynne returned to school and was awarded her masters degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University in 2015. She has expanded her services to include individual coaching, relationship coaching (pre-marital and marriage maintenance), and adolescent development. She also provides leadership development, team building, and communications seminars for corporate clients and nonprofit organizations. S. Lynne is a certified Prepare & Enrich facilitator and she has completed Gottman Method Level 1 training. Most recently, S. Lynne is completing certification as a Jung Typology Profiler for the Workplace (JTPW).

When not working, you can find S. Lynne looking for new and inventive ways to entertain her dog, Mojo (black & white furball to the left), after his best friend JohnnyCash (the distinguished chocolate Lab) moved away.
